Corrections and clarifications.
Everything we have corrected on the Layoff Tracker, newest first. Entries are never removed. If you have found an error, write to press@gotpinkslipped.com — we treat it as a correction request, not as feedback.
Our correction policy
We fix in place, and we say what changed.
A factual error is corrected in the original item, marked as corrected, and logged here with what we published and what is correct. We do not quietly edit. Corrections cover factual errors, including wrong figures and misattributed sources. Clarifications cover statements that were not wrong but were imprecise enough to mislead. Source corrections cover claims where the fact held but the attribution didn't. Where new data supersedes an older figure, we refresh the number and label its period rather than logging a correction.
