The founder
Jarrett Reed.
Jarrett Reed got the call in October 2025.
He had spent more than two decades at one company, leading consumer experience design. After the call, the systems that were supposed to help him next were not built for him.
In the months that followed, he started something small. Weekly sessions with other people who had been laid off. Not networking, not advice, not pep talks. Just a room where the conversation could be honest. The group cycled people through to their next chapter and ended when the last of them landed.
What stayed with him is the thing PinkSlipped is built on. Laid-off workers don't need one specialist. They need a place to land. The existing infrastructure treats each piece in isolation. Nothing holds the whole.
