Your notice
Maryland has its own layoff-notice law.
Maryland's Economic Stabilization Act covers employers with 50 or more employees that have operated in the state for a year. A shutdown or relocation that cuts 25% of the workforce or 15 people, whichever is more, over three months needs 60 days' written notice.
