Your notice
Tennessee has its own layoff-notice law.
Tennessee's Plant Closing and Reduction in Operations Act covers employers with 50 to 99 employees, the ones the federal law leaves out. Notice goes to workers, local officials and the state's Dislocated Worker Unit.
